Youth Olympics is for the young peoples
It will be the first time that Singapore is holding this event.
It is a major event as as Singapore is holding the FIRST youth olympics.
It will be held from 14 August to 26 August 2010 (in 1 years time ).
It will receive athletes and officials.
It is a multi-sports game held every 4 years in staggered summer and winter.
The idea came from Jacques Rogge, the president of International Olympic Committe (IOC).
On 6 JULY 2007,117th IOC session in Guatemala city, his creation of the youth version of the olympics games were approved by the members of IOC.
