Hello(:
For the 2 other values, that we have to state ourselves.
Me and Jiasiang came up with these two values.
They are
-Passion: They have to feel the game before playing it. In this way, they will strive to do their best in the competitions. To me a competition is smt that people uses their very best to get it. that is what a real competition is. This is something not much people are able to get. they may have been told to have it by their instructor, but they just can't get the feel. People usually get this feeling only after smt had happened and the game will become their punching bag.

-Joy for the effort: They should not only think of winning and celebrate only after they win. Even if they lose, they should not feel dissapointed, but they should celebrate for the effort that they put in, and practice harder for the next time round. So that they will have 'cheng jiu gan'for the thing that they practice for a very long time.

There are also alot of other important values . (:
like having a balance in their game. or confidence in themselfs.

All they have to do is to believe that they can do it. Most of the time it is not all about the practice that they do. there are alot of ffactors that affect the competition (:

I only found 3 values and when i go bloghopping to other's blog,Mr Alvis said that the other 2 we hve to think of it ourselves.
The values are:
Excellence:To give one's best. Not in winning but also in participating. To strive and make progress fo our own goals. And to do our best in daily life to do the best of what we have.

Friendship:Building a peaceful and better world through sport. Building on solidarity, team spirit, joy and optimism. To promote sport as an opportunity for teamwork, camaraderie and mutual understanding among individuals from all over the world, despite the differences.

Respect:To respect oneslf and one's body,to respect others, as well as rules and regulations, and to respect the environment. In relation to sport, respect stands for keeping true to one's intergity, engaging in fair play and fighting against doping or any other unethical behaviour.

Youth Olympic Games:
Starting in 2010, the Olympic Games will be complemented by Youth Games, where athletes between the ages of 14 and 18 will compete. The Youth Olympic Games were conceived by IOC president Jacques Rogge in 2001 and approved during the 119th Congress of the IOC. The first Summer Youth Games will be in Singapore in 2010, while the inaugural Winter Games will be hosted in Innsbruck, Austria, two years later. These Games will be shorter than the senior Games; the summer version will last twelve days, while the winter version will last nine days. The IOC will allow 3,500 athletes and 875 officials to participate at the Summer Youth Games, and 970 athletes and 580 officials at the Winter Youth Games. The sports to be contested will coincide with those scheduled for the traditional senior Games, however there will be a reduced number of disciplines and events.
I feel happy for Singapore as it is the first country that is hosting the first summer
youth games. This will bring publicity to Singapore and then there will be more tourists. And Singapore will be more popular.
